Mae craidd gwaith Anthony Ynohtna yn ymchwilio i'r berthynas rhwng celf a'i fanteision therapiwtig o ran effeithiau trawma, iechyd meddwl a lles. Trwy ddull amlddisgyblaethol o ymarfer, gan ymgorffori cyfryngau lluniadu a lensys, gan weithredu fel allfeydd gweledol ar gyfer mynegiant, myfyrio a hunan-therapi.

Mae'r pwyslais ar gyfryngau lens yn galluogi cyswllt rhwng cysyniadau cynrychioladol safle ag emosiwn, absenoldeb a phresenoldeb, ac ail-chwilio atgofion unigol a chyfunol. Mae'r edafedd naratif hyn yn ei alluogi i archwilio'r berthynas rhwng tirwedd, hunaniaeth a phortread. Wedi'i ysbrydoli gan rinweddau Lynchian, mae ei waith yn aml yn cyfosod yr amgylcheddau naturiol a hynny a wnaed gan ddyn, gan greu gweithiau sy'n ffinio â realiti a chyflwr limbo.

Yn ganolog i'w ysbrydoliaeth ac yn llywio ymchwil ac ymarfer Ynohtna, y mae astudiaethau seicolegwyr ac awduron sy'n delio gydag trawma ac lles.

The core of Anthony Ynohtna's work delves into the relationship between art and its therapeutic benefits regarding the effects of trauma, mental health and wellbeing. Through a multidisciplinary approach to practice, incorporating drawing and lens based media, acting as visual outlets for expression, reflection and self-therapy.

The emphasis on lens based media enables connections between representational concepts of site with emotion, absence and presence, and the re-searching of individual and collective memories. These narrative threads enable him to explore the relationship between landscape, identity and portraiture. Inspired by Lynchian qualities, his work often juxtaposes the natural and man-made environments, creating works that border reality and the state of limbo.

Pivotally inspiring and informing Ynohtna's research and practice, are the studies of psychologists and authors researching and exploring trauma and wellbeing.
